Motor Freight Shipment Instructions

Delivery Inspection
At the time of delivery, an order must be inspected for damage or product shortages before you sign the driver’s delivery receipt. Unwrap shipment pallets and open boxes to inspect your order to be sure it is complete and that there is no concealed damage. It is very difficult or can even be impossible to file a claim with a freight carrier if damage or loss is claimed after a driver has left your facility and the shipment has been signed for.

IMPORTANT: If you receive a damaged shipment or a shortage on your order, make
notations of the damage or shortage on the delivery receipt or BOL, and inform HH M2M
Holdings, LLC immediately so we may facilitate the resolution for you.

Delivery Unloading

Usually, the receiver is responsible for removal of the freight from the truck. Please make prior
arrangements to be prepared for your delivery or any help you may need in off-loading your
shipment. Most freight orders are shipped on pallets—a forklift may be necessary for off-loading.

Lift gate services are usually available for a fee from the freight carrier and must be requested at
the time the order is placed.

If you have limited access to your facility or cannot accept a full size 53-foot semi, notify HH M2M
Holdings, LLC at the time the order is placed or there may be re-delivery or re-consignment fees
assigned by the freight carrier.

Freight Damage and Shortages

If you have received a damaged shipment or an incomplete order, notify HH M2M Holdings, LLC
immediately. Lost items can sometimes be located by the freight carrier within a few business
days. Damaged product needs to be held at your facility until a resolution can be made with
the freight claim. Requests for replacement orders or merchandise credit for shortages can be
discussed with customer service at HH M2M Holdings, LLC.
